When I was younger I met Jon Anderson backstage at a Yes concert. I worshipped Yes and mainly Jon. He was so kind and I was so nervous. I asked him to write me and he did. A quick little note on a napkin but he did and he mailed it to me from Philly (I saw him in New Haven). 25 years later I have just discovered Olias and wow… Just wow… What else can you say. I hope to see him on “Have Guitar Will Travel.”

Sorry it took so long for me to find the comment. I’ve bee kind of busy lately with other projects.
Thanks for the backstage story. I’m a fan too. Check out my four Yes sites (links on this site in the sidebar). I haven’t heard of “Have Guitar Will Travel”. — James

David, I’m so happy to hear from you. You are the king of video artists in my book man. Hope you don’t mind me using so much of your work on my sites. Besides the Anderson site I have 6, I think it’s 6, Yes sites. I’ve been so dependent on your work that I actually made the Anderson site virtually inactive for a few months when WMG disabled your slide shows.

Your Tales slide shows are an important and prominent feature of my Yes 1972-1974 site. Heart of the Sunrise too. And I’ve got at least one of your videos in the site Yes 1968-71 (Survival).

I’ll come visit you and have a look at the new work soon. Looking forward to it. –Cheers, Jim

David, Happy New Year. Just a note to tell you thanks again. I wonder if you know how much of your material I’ve used. This site is heavily dependent on your Olias videos (I closed it for periods when they weren’t available last year) and I try not to forget it. I think most of my Yes sites have something from you. I always give you credit and try to put your link prominently above any video or set of videos I use. I now have six Jon Anderson sites (six albums) completed. Even more than with Olias, my site Toltec.wordpress owes it’s existence to your work.

Please let me know if my usage of your videos for these sites is agreeable with you. And if so how I might best draw attention to your homepages. I’ve used your logo as well as a text link in Toltec.

The sites of mine most dependent on your material are:

Olias.wordpress.com — the entire set of videos
Toltec.wordpress.com — All but the “Ave Verum” video which is by Starshippeter
Yes72to74.wordpress.com — The Tales set. Before I found that set by you I had only the studio run-through set by “Scyen”, an account that was later closed. I don’t have a youtube account but I imagine it must be a tightrope walk at times to stay within bounds.

I am constantly amazed by the volume and quality of Yes and Anderson videos you’ve produced. Keep up the great work. One request if I may. The video for the Alan White song Spring-Song of Innocence from Ramshackled has long had the audio disabled. Nice song, and pretty cool video, featuring Jon Anderson, and Steve Howe (though the quality was rather low on the one I used to have). Would love to see your work on that. Or on Prince Rupert Awakes. — Peace and Love, Doc

Thanks for the props. I am constantly working to improve the quality of the videos in keeping with the quality of the music. Currently I am working to upgrade some videos to HD. I still have many to produce for the first time. Many many requests left to complete. I hope all is well!

Thank you. Just thank you. I have loved this piece of music since I first heard is day after it was released. Later, I heard parts of live it at a Yes concert in Seattle. It means a great deal to me to find this video here.

I’m and all time Jon fan, and have a longlasting admiration of Olias. Just a short message: Thanks for your page, I’ll watch it carefully one of this days. It’s nice to gather my lonely admiration of Jon and the Yes World, still today, many years before with other fans. Best regards from Buenos Aires,
